That's why my parents are so confused why I don't go or even want to go to the cult indoctrination sessions aka meetings. That has been the solution to EVERYTHING to them so they dont see how I can possibly function without them. Hello newsflash: I'm doing fine possibly even thriving since the guilt and negativity have been removed from my life. Living in the present instead of waiting for some promised future is also been healthy mentally. Since I'm not hearing constantly about Satan anymore, I feel more relaxed, not worried how he is going to get me. Of course it's sad because they think he has snatched me up😔

The laziness of JW parents....
by stuckinarut2 init struck me that the society has created a culture of lazy jw parenting.. rather than parents being there to guide and direct and help their children through all stages of life, the gb / society has become the "go-too" for everything.. if the child has an issue, there is a wt article for that.. does the child need help with something else?
ah, there is a caleb and sophia cartoon for that.. what about that other topic?
ah, there is a book for that.. so rather than being present parents, the average jw parent simply outsources their parenting to the organization!

with all the changes from 2012 onwards (videos, tv screens, new meeting format, new songs etc) it would be an odd experience to be in attendance!.

An Active JW Sister Modelling For Me
by pale.emperor insince leaving the borg i jumped both feet first into classes i've always wanted to do but was never "allowed" to.
two of which are life drawing and photography.
i've been studying for almost two years now and have seen more nude men and women in our classes than i care to remember.. today in the photography studio i was working in with three others (two women, one man) we were told we had a new person modelling for us.

My New Year Present to Everyone

Welcome! I really enjoyed your story and it wasn't too long! It resonates with me on so many levels. Born in- but no friends- I hear that. The hypocrisy of what Jackson said at arc was a big deal to me too. You can't force us to believe one thing and then change it aka lie when it suits u. I was really over that. We had a foreigner in the foreign language ministry force us to do research that made us question a lot but he wasn't ex jw. He was just reasonable and not blinded by the cult. We were pioneering at the time and I was bothered that I couldn't defend the truth. Now I realize I couldn't defend it cuz it wasn't the truth. Still feels weird typing that...
